How are tie-breakers calculated? I tried following the link on Challonge, but it just took me to the tournament description.

The tie breakers will be calculated via Mantis tournament software. I'm running the tournament simultaneously with Mantis. The first tie breaker is your opponents match win percentage. I'll post correct standings after rounds 6-8.

Peek is bugged in a very serious way that acts as a guaranteed tutor. Not sure how to fix it, but I have done it three times and was able to get extinction 3 times across 2 games: www.twitch.tv/zubrin_alpha/c/3615859

Peek seems to throw up multiple copies of a card, it was buccaneer for me. Then the cards somehow get dropped from your hand. Player beware...

Hello this is my 1st post on this forum and i have several question regarding the tournament being held on Feb. 22-23.
1.Will players be able to switch decks between rounds? As it states is allowed for the previous tournaments.
2.Will there be no sideboard allowed for this tournament?
3.Will there be an updated list of banned/cards that don't work properly for this tournament? If there is when will it be announced? Reason why i ask is that the latest patch claimed to fix several issues such as countering a countermagic...i have seen this work since the patch just fine in certain games, and also Ive seen it freeze the game as well (both since the patch). So whats the official ruling on that?
That's all i have for now...thank you for taking the time to reply.

Again, this is the best way to discourage cheating as I can't monitor games in progress. There's no way to enforce each player to play the same deck each round. 2)No. This goes along with my first answer. I can't stop people from using "X" sideboard card because it's good vs their opponent. In order to be able to use sideboards in Swiss play, CZE will have to add in an option to challenge players in a best two-of-three match. 3)Yes, there will be an updated list. CZE has been doing an excellent job of fixing cards/gems from patch to patch. - John

I'd encourage to rethink about allowing different decks. I'd rather see everyone have to report their choice of deck to you (decklist not needed) and you post this in an official thread. This way your opponent can check if you play the right deck.

This way your opponent can check if you play the right deck. Perhaps the game client will make it easier to do this in the future, but self-reporting deck types isn't really a reliable way of preventing someone from altering their deck between rounds. If anything, it further enables "cheaters" by being able to see what you're playing ahead of time and tweak their decks to have the appropriate answers. Further, we can protect streamers who are kind enough to broadcast their games by giving them the freedom to be unpredictable. As-is, allowing people to change decks is the best we can do to ensure things are fair.
